We have just added a new yarn line -- Berroco Yarns. We have ordered some books and two types of yarn.

One of the yarns is called Seduce:

FIBER: 47% Rayon, 25% Linen, 17% Silk, 11% Nylon

HANK WEIGHT:   1.41 oz / 40 g   HANK LENGTH: 100 yds / 92 m

KNITTING GAUGE: 5 sts = 1"  20 sts & 28 rows = 4" (10cm)

NEEDLE SIZE:  7(US) / 4.5 mm

CROCHET GAUGE: 5 scs = 1"  20 scs & 16 rows = 4" (10cm)

HOOK SIZE:  E-4(US) / 3.5 mm

CARE: Hand wash in cool water. Lay flat to dry. No bleach. Do not iron.

We are expecting this yarn to arrive after April 1st.

The other yarn is called WEEKEND:

FIBER: 75% Acrylic, 25% Peruvian Cotton     HANK WEIGHT: 3.5 oz / 100 g      HANK LENGTH: 205 yds / 187 m

KNITTING GAUGE:  4.5 sts = 1"   18 sts & 26 rows = 4" (10cm)     NEEDLE SIZE:   7 (US) / 4.5 mm

NEW SOCK YARN

ARRIVING EVERY SIX WEEKS

Opal is a sock yarn out of Germany. They manufacture their sock yarn every six weeks and then automatically ship it to us.

The yarn is not made again so if you miss it, you will never see it again.

This can be fun, or this can be maddening. We’ll have to wait and see.

• MACHINE SERVCING

JUKI, FEATHERWEIGHT, AND PFAFF CLEANING AND SERVICING: Sign up to have your machine serviced by Chris Botts from Paradise. It takes him an hour to do each machine, so machines will be looked at by appointment only. Reservations, with payment, must be made in advance. If your machine needs repair, Chris will have to take it back to his shop in Paradise. You can leave it with him on this date, and you and he can figure out the best way to get the machine back when it’s fixed.

If you get your machine serviced, you will receive 20% off any purchases that day at Sew What, excluding machines and sale items.
